Seacret Cruises was founded by Dimitris Vakakis, who is also the owner and one of our lead skippers. Dimitris grew up between Athens and the Cyclades, spending every summer on the islands. His vision was to create a company that offers private cruises blending authenticity, comfort, and a personal touch, far from mass tourism. For him, Seacret Cruises is not just about moving between islands, but about offering guests a true immersion in Cycladic beauty — from hidden coves and crystal waters to the unique light of a Cycladic sunset.

Today, he leads the company together with his partner, Captain Thanasis, who also serves as co-CEO. With more than two decades of experience at sea, Thanasis is known for his calm leadership, professionalism, and genuine warmth with guests. His knowledge of the Aegean makes him an invaluable guide, while his philosophy is that safety and hospitality always go hand in hand. Together with Dimitris, he ensures that every detail of a cruise — from the itinerary to the service on board — reflects the values of Seacret Cruises.
